Tod Goldberg is the author of seven books, including the novels Living Dead Girl, a finalist for the Los Angeles Times Book Prize, Fake Liar Cheat & the popular Burn Notice series, and two short story collections, Simplify, which won the Other Voices Short Story Collection Prize and was a finalist for the SCIBA Prize for Literature, and Other Resort Cities. His short fiction has appeared in numerous magazines, journals and anthologies, twice receiving Special Mention for the Pushcart Prize and recently being noted as a Distinguished Story in the Best American Mystery Stories 2009. His nonfiction, journalism and criticism appear frequently in the Los Angeles Times, Las Vegas City Life and many other publications, earning four Nevada Press Association awards for excellence. Tod Goldberg holds an MFA in Creative Writing & Literature from Bennington College and is the Administrative Director of the MFA in Creative Writing & Writing for the Performing Arts at UCR-Palm Desert.
