Sara Henning received her MFA in poetry from George Mason University. A former Vermont Studio Center resident, she has poems published or forthcoming in journals such as American Letters and Commentary, Verse, Room, Fence, and The Southern Poetry Anthology, Volume V: Georgia. She currently instructs in the First Year Composition Program at the University of Georgia.
