My Nguyen was a C3 Intern in the College of Computing at UC Riverside and was the Associate Editor of the CHASS (College of Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences) Newsletter. Also at UC Riverside, she served as a Research Assistant to the Tomás Rivera Endowed Chair in the Department of Creative Writing. My has been published in DeQ Magazine, an underground music, fashion, and art magazine, writing several reviews of CDs, DVDs, venues and underground literature. She is also a contributing writer for Performer Magazine, churning out multiple reviews for indie music for the publication, and music book reviews. For Socal.com, another site that she contributes to, she writes for the entertainment section, shelling out reviews for theater and movies. In the meantime, she is also working on a number of fictional works, including a novel and a novella. She hopes to have both published in the future.
