Marion Deutsche Cohen has a new poetry book, “Chronic Progressive” (Plain View Press, TX), about her life after the nursing-home placement of her then-husband, physicist Jeffrey Cohen. Her books total 19, including “Crossing the Equal Sign” (Plain View Press, TX), about the experience of mathematics, “Dirty Details: The Days and Nights of a Well Spouse” (Temple University Press, PA). and “Surviving the Alphabet” (Huge Pathetic Force, PA). She teaches math at Arcadia University in Glenside PA; she is particularly excited about a course she developed, “Mathematics in Literature”. Other interests are classical piano, singing, Scrabble, thrift-shopping, four grown children, and three gran’s.
