Kate Hutchinson teaches English and is Fine Arts Coordinator at a large high school near Chicago. Her poems and personal essays have recently appeared in literary magazines including The Dos Passos Review, Shenandoah, and Cottonwood, and in the collection Voices of Autism: The Healing Companion. She is a 2010 Pushcart Prize nominee and winner of the 2010 Poetry Contest of the National League of American Pen Women.
