Alexis Yael has been writing and making art for most of her life. The daughter of a painter, she has tried out many different mediums and finds photography to be one she is most at home with. Similarly drawn to poetry and the distillation of words into concrete imagery, she graduated summa cum laude with a BA in Creative Writing from the University of California at Riverside in 2000.
